Over the last few weeks, the City of Lima hosted its 2nd annual MLK Jr. Service Project. Residents were invited to give back to their community by donating much needed items to three local organizations, Heart & Sole of Allen County, All Starr Pet Rescue, and Crime Victim Services.
We are tremendously grateful to the City for organizing this service project, to Vibe Coffeehouse and The Meeting Place on Market for graciously hosting the donation bins, and to our local community members for your generous donations. The paper products and hygiene supplies donated will go directly to survivors in need.

With ten unique programs within our agency, our needs vary from classroom materials, teaching incentives, household items, clothing for survivors and general office supplies. Each donation goes a long way toward cultivating a community free from violence and oppression through prevention education, victim advocacy and community outreach.
