Donor match for #givingCVSday!

Thanks to our dedicated and generous community of supporters, we have been moving the mission and vision of Crime Victim Services (CVS) forward for over 40 years. Because of this support, we’ve served tens of thousands of victims and survivors locally, expanded and innovated to fill unmet community needs, and developed impactful prevention programming to create a culture of anti-violence amongst our youth. And this year, your support can have double the impact, thanks to a donor match from our Board of Directors!

This year, on November 28, 2023, CVS will once again participate in Giving Tuesday. CVS has branded the day #givingCVSday to educate others about our mission and vision, and to raise funds to further our prevention, advocacy, and outreach efforts locally.

CVS has set a fundraising goal of $4,698 - which equals the number of victims and survivors CVS served in 2022. This year, our tremendous CVS Board of Directors has offered a generous challenge – they will MATCH half of that goal, dollar for dollar, up to $2,349!

Each day, CVS educators and advocates work to empower others to meet their needs for safety, healing, and justice. Any contribution this #givingCVSday is appreciated and further supports our work in West Central Ohio. With your donation MATCHED, we look forward to creating an even greater impact in our community in the year ahead!

  • Gifts of $10 (doubled to $20) allow us to provide classroom materials as we educate youth about consent, healthy relationships, and bystander intervention.

  • Gifts of $25 (doubled to $50) allow us to coordinate and support a CASA volunteer's case advocacy for the best interest of children within the child welfare system.

  • Gifts of $60 (doubled to $120) allow us to provide trauma-responsive counseling sessions to a survivor of sexual violence.

  • Gifts of $100 (doubled to $200) allow us to repair damage to the home of an elderly victim of property crime and provide a home security device.

Mark your calendars for November 28, 2023
