Program Sponsorship

A message from Executive Director, Amy Wiechart-Bayliff

Thank you for your interest in sponsoring one of our programs!

For over 40 years, Crime Victim Services has remained a significant and impactful resource within the community for those who have suffered victimization, abuse and exploitation.  In these moments which can be the most vulnerable and traumatizing in a person’s life, CVS advocates offer hope, support, healing and empowerment.

In 2021, over 5,000 individuals, from infancy through elderly, were provided services through Allen and Putnam Counties, ranging from court advocacy to case management while CVS prevention staff provided over 2,000 students and community members anti-violence and healthy relationship education.

As a 501c3 with a $2,975,981 dollar budget, we are proud to say that our administrative costs are only 16% of our agency’s expenses.  For a non-profit, this is a tremendous achievement.  Charity Watch give non-profits with under 25% operating costs an “A” rating, and the Better Business Bureau recommends no more than 35% be spent on these expenses.  We do know, however, that administrative costs are a critical to running successful programming, especially managing grant reporting, training requirements, and ensuring continuity of quality services.  Many of our grant sources do not allow for funding of administrative costs, yet we know that a base level of administrative staff and expenses are necessary to manage day-to-day operations.

As we look to 2023, we invite you to join us in cultivating a community free from violence and oppression by sponsoring a program within Crime Victim Services.  We have 10 unique programs, each offering a specific focus for our work: prevention, advocacy and outreach.  Every program sponsor will be named as an agency funder and provided with regular updates regarding news, events, outcomes, and success stories that keep you connected to the work that your dollars support.

I appreciate your consideration of program sponsorship, to ensure our continued success in meeting the needs of victims & survivors in our community.  To learn more about program sponsorship, please email me at abayliff@crimevictimservices.org

Thank you,
